About Lejaan
We are perfectionists who care about every detail. From rolls of fabric to individual seams and the final product – every centimeter of fabric passes through the hands of our seamstresses. We believe that the human element is key to success. That's why we sew bed linen in smaller workshops, where we continue a tradition of craftsmanship, maintain personal relationships, and guarantee oversight over every phase of product manufacturing.
The creation of each collection involves a complex process. Everything starts with colors, which our creative director designs based on deeper thoughts, stories, and inspiration. This is followed by the development of the fabric structure and its systematic testing. For this, we are gladly assisted by, for example, the Faculty of Textiles at the Technical University of Liberec.
Our goal is to seek more sustainable ways and practical solutions that benefit both you and nature. We constantly strive to expand our range with ecological materials, eliminate unnecessary elements such as zippers or buttons, and minimize our environmental impact. This is an ongoing process to which we at Lejaan dedicate a great deal of energy.
We endeavor to select primarily natural and high-quality fabrics from verified sources. Our organic cotton meets ecological production standards, meaning its cultivation occurs without the use of pesticides or other chemicals. Innovative Tencel™ Lyocell uses wood pulp from renewable sources, consumes less water in the production process, and is biodegradable. The goose down found in our fillings boasts a high level of quality and originates from certified and ethically run farms.
One of the unique methods we use in the production of bedding is tearing fabrics. This allows us to maintain strict warp and weft lines, which is crucial for preventing seam twisting. This deformation, on the other hand, is a common part of the cutting process – a routinely used technique in mass production and industrial plants. Although tearing is more demanding, it is an essential step towards perfection for us.

Supplier Selection
When building our supply chain, we emphasize transparency, shared values, openness to innovation, and the ability to build long-term relationships. Thanks to this approach, we are constantly improving and enhancing the efficiency of our production process and the quality of our products. We primarily strive to find local suppliers, and if this is not the case for certain products, there is a logical reason for it.

Countries of origin
We manufacture bedding in the Czech Republic, as well as fillings from the Classic range. We also sew goose down duvets and pillows here, but we source the down from certified European, most often Polish, farms. Comfort fillings are also produced in Poland. We sew terry cloth in Turkey, due to their expertise, production capacities, and cotton processing, as the cotton originates there. We source silk from China, as its production has a long tradition there due to suitable climatic conditions.
