But how to take Mix & Match even further? "You can never go wrong with a white T-shirt and jeans," says Lejaan creative director Jana Hučíková. "But adding a delicate necklace, a brooch, a hair scarf, and neon pumps – that's the next level." If I choose a consistent style, the bed will always look compact, clean, and tidy. They cannot be combined," Jana states.

So, how do you alternate classic pillowcases with those that have decorative trim? "The basic rule I follow mostly mirrors the different pillow sizes on the bed: large, medium, and small – classic, Oxford, classic," Jana recommends. "I usually choose the largest pillow in this three-way combination without a flange. Otherwise, there would be a large disproportion.
