The founder of the holistic beauty concept Beloved, Alex Rambousková, prefers a neutral color palette and a conscious approach to both her professional and private life. She naturally filled her apartment and our conversation with harmony, genuine peace, and pure optimism. Lejaan bedding.

Alex, you are the founder of Beloved – a beauty concept dedicated to holistic care and a curated selection of quality products. What inspired you to establish it?

A story as old as business itself. I couldn't find what I was looking for on the market. A place where quality, aesthetics, and a pleasant environment converge. A brand that selects products from a broader perspective, looking for solutions to problems from various angles. It sees things holistically, for example, that beautiful skin isn't just about cream, but also about vitamins and food supplements. What does well-being mean to you, and how do you try to incorporate it into your daily routine? Today I couldn't find a Czech equivalent for this word. If you look in literature, you most often come across the phrase: "Overall well-being in all areas of life."

Well-being is within us and around us. You cannot achieve a total sense of well-being without balance, harmony, and self-care. Try to answer this – what rituals would your day have to consist of to have a constant sense of well-being? The answer will outline what your personal well-being is. The richness we live within ourselves is what we then experience externally. It doesn't work very well the other way around.

Alex's bathroom essentials consist of Playful Cotton towels and an Honest White bathrobe.

DÔMYSEL did not have an easy time with us, but they were understanding. We always eventually agreed and found a common solution. In retrospect, we are very grateful to them and recommend them to all our friends.

Well-being is within us and around us. A total sense of well-being cannot be achieved without balance.

Do you recall any moment during the renovation that you consider the most challenging?

We bought a new and completely finished apartment. However, we knew it didn't match what we wanted to live in. We sat over the plans and eventually decided to completely change the layout of the apartment, rip out the floors, replace the new kitchen... At one point, there was nothing but concrete and bricks everywhere. It was financially and time-consuming. But we don't regret it!

And what, on the contrary, was the absolute best?

When we realized what came out of it!

What does home mean to you, and what do you think creates it?

Home is made of people and emotions. Small, beautiful moments of everyday life. Playing with children, a kiss on the cheek from my husband, the smell of coffee, laughter, the sound of cutting food, reading a bedtime story in bed.

Knitted decorative pillows and throws from the Colour Melange collection as a playful refreshment for an otherwise neutral terrace.

Which part of it is your favorite?

We have a large terrace, actually larger than our apartment. I love evenings with friends at the grill with a city view, when the kids are jumping on the trampoline or secretly picking strawberries and then have messy faces. I love mornings on the yoga mat when it's still foggy outside. I love taking care of plants and herbs, even though I'm a beginner gardener. (laughs)

And what parts of your "home" do your children love the most? Almost every night, all four of us end up there. And when I ask them in the morning why they didn't sleep in their own beds, they always say that our bed is better and that they love waking up with us in a hug.

Soft bedding and fluffy fillings like clouds for the most comfortable shared moments.

Is there anything else you desire for your interior?

Both my husband and I love design, and each of us has a few dream pieces that we gradually buy and give to each other for birthdays and Christmas. We love our apartment the way it is.

What do you think everyone should have at home?

The feeling that they are comfortable there.

You are a lover of minimalism and monochromatic solutions, which is also evident in your brand. Do you incorporate these factors into decorating your home?

I truly live what I feel. Both Beloved and the interior of our apartment draw a lot from me. In many elements, they look quite similar, in some, even identical. In my opinion, this fact is behind the great success of the brand.

You have also incorporated our products into your apartment. Tell us, when did you first get acquainted with Lejaan?

When furnishing the apartment. I was looking for the last pieces before the final move-in. My dream was to have the feeling in my own bed that you get in luxury hotels – fluffy pillows, comfortable bedding. Now we own several of them, as well as the fillings themselves and a bathrobe, in which I sometimes spend entire mornings. And the pillows, which I look forward to every evening.

Even a varied Mix & Match can still appear soft and neutral.

And what product, on the other hand, is missing from our offer?

Woolen winter blankets.

What does it evoke in you?

The feeling that I want to spend an entire Sunday in them with a book in my hand.

Your morning ritual includes waking up early and coffee on the terrace. Is there any daily routine that also accompanies your evenings?

I have two daughters who are relatively young – Elen is four and Thea recently celebrated her first birthday. Evenings revolve around bathing, putting them to bed, cleaning up after dinner, and catching up on work emails that I didn't have time for during the day.
